SHOES WORTH HAVING

In the past year I’ve made a conscious effort to invest in some shoes. Something I held off doing for a while because I’ve been known to wreck a few shoes in my lifetime. However, it didn’t stop me from going ahead with it anyways and so far, I’ve done a good job of not wrecking anyone of them hence why I’m sharing my shoe journey in today’s post which I’ve titled shoes worth having.

During my research, it was hard to come across shoes that looked good and comfy at the same. Since I tend to do a lot of walking, comfort is just as high on my priority as beauty. Thanks to the power of Google and social media inspiration, I was able to discover a couple of brands that are consistent when it comes to both.

SALONDEJU is a Korean brand I’ve come to love. They’re a brand that definitely make shoes worth having. Their designs appear simple yet elegant accompanied with comfort. I find that their sizes can run a little big but maybe that’s part of the comfort element. I’m usually an EU 39 but an EU 38.5 fits just fine. They are also quite affordable when compared to other luxury shoe brands.

Then we have Gucci. After scrolling past their trainers, I found a few shoes that drew me in. Honestly, these white pumps are my best shoe investment so far. I have worn them countless times and they remain my go to shoes to wear as they easily compliment most looks. They’re shoes I’m more than happy to replace if I ever do wreck them but I doubt that would be anytime soon as they seem to be holding up just fine despite their mileage thus far.

Yuul Yie are a similar brand to SALONDEJU in terms of design and pricing. I happened upon them while browsing on Farfetch which is also a good place to discover smaller brands with unique designs. Yuul Yie have a lot of elegant designs with comfort heels allowing for easy styling.
