Styling belts this season is something I’m loving very much. A belt is an easy way to accessorise. My go to use for belts is usually to cinch my waist as it gives more of a very feminine appearance. As I try to get as much use out of the pieces in my wardrobe, investing in a good belt is a must.
The best way to go about this for someone looking to invest in a good piece would be to go for one that goes with a lot of items in your wardrobe. That way you find yourself styling it up more often.
This piece by Salvatore Ferragamo is a good example. The neutral tone gives room for versatile styling. Here I’ve worn it over a puffy sleeve dress but it can easily work well over a coat or on a pair of jeans/trousers. My go to designers for belts would be Burberry and Versace. Burberry have a collection of classic pieces that could last a lifetime in your wardrobe while Versace make a lot of statement belts which is great for moments when you feel like dressing up a bit more.
