I’VE BEEN AWAY DARLING

I’ve been away darling. How my letter to Craig would start if he wasn’t with me on my many recent travels. Yes, I’ve been on the road non stop since August and whilst it’s all been fun, I’m afraid I’ve needed a little more time than usual for my body to settle back to normal mode, hence my absence on here.

As I lay in bed typing out this post while listening to Dido, I’m yet to pack for my upcoming trip to St Lucia which is only a couple of days away. I know if I don’t get to putting something together in this moment, then perhaps I might be gone a little longer and I wouldn’t that as I do love putting down my thoughts on my little corner of the internet.

We recently returned from Paris and I thought I’d share some of my looks from the romantic city, first off starting with this pastel pink corduroy suit. I got it over the Christmas sale from Reiss at the start of the year and I love it so much. If there was a ball at the Palace of Versaille today, I’d turn up in this look.

While in Paris, one of our contacts reached out asking if I’d love to go pick out a handbag from one of their clients and I couldn’t resist. I fell in love with this bag from Pouchet Paris as soon as I saw it. It’s perfect for autumn and everything else in-between. Plus I don’t own an orange bag so it was a good way for me to add some colour to my bag collection.

You can never go wrong with a trench coat and you bet your ass I made Craig match with me. Soppy I know. I can get like that sometimes. I feel like this is a look that most people can get on board with this season. The beret was perfect for keeping my hair in place in especially when it got windy.

When I shared this look on Instagram someone said I looked like I could have come from the set of Black Panther. There goes my halloween look in early October. Leather can be a sophisticated look every now and again. I enjoyed putting this outfit together. It made me feel like a girl on a mission.

This was actually one of my favourite looks, albeit there was a bit of a kerfuffle when trying to get the shot on a busy Paris Fashion Week morning. Nonetheless, it was worth the hassle as this is a timeless look I can get behind.
