What’s new in my wardrobe; May edit is the first of a new series I’m starting on here as a way to share my newly acquired fashion pieces. Considering my line of work, the truth is I don’t tend to do a lot of shopping as I’m lucky to get gifted a decent amount of fashionable pieces. However, when I do decide to add something new to my wardrobe, the first and most important thing I tend to take into consideration is my ability to get a lot of wear from it hence why my go to style is usually timeless. And these newly acquired pieces will testify to it.
This pink linen suit is one I fell in love with as soon as I spotted it online at & Other Stories. It’s perfect for spring and Summer which is a my favourite season so definitely looking forward to rocking this look as much as I can. I especially love that the jacket and trousers can be mixed and matched with other pieces in my wardrobe thus allowing me to get a lot of wear from it.
This earthy sage dress is one I stumbled across while on Instagram. It’s by a brand called Dollina which I’ve never heard of. Nevertheless, the minimalistic yet detailed timeless pieces make for an eye-catching outfit. The buttons on the sleeves is my favourite detail. I do wish the dress came in a maxi form too but I’m happy to settle for a midi given its overall style. It’s the perfect dress for Spring and Summer. It reminds me of our time in the countryside in Bodiam this time last year. Here I’m styling it with a straw hat that I’ve added a flower crown to just in time for Garden Day UK.

This beautiful pearled ivory shirt is also from Dollina. I couldn’t resist adding it to my cart when I saw it. Plus the 10% off offered on first purchases on the site was quite persuasive. It’s the sort of shirt I know I’d wear all year round. Ivory is really easy to match with a lot of pieces given its neutral tone. This shirt will go well with my pink linen trousers and many other pieces in my wardrobe. Although not evident in the images, the shirt boasts a full flamboyant collar which drew me to it.
