FIND SOMETHING THAT WORKS FOR YOU

I’m back again with another style post. This time I’m sharing how you can find something that works for you. This is because, when you find something that works for you, getting the most of it becomes easy. I used to be one of those people who dreaded winter, that was until I rediscovered my style. And now, all I want to do is get dressed and brave the cold in true Onyi style.

This time around I’m doing it with a cup of hot chocolate and a cosy look from Amazon find. When picking out a look, a good place to start is with the basics. In this instance, it’s the jumper and denim. As I always like to get as much wear as possible from pieces I own, sticking with neutral tones is usually the way to go as it makes it easier to mix and match with other exciting items in my wardrobe.

For the shoes, I decided to go a bit more out there with these faux snake pattern boots. It’s a good way to draw attention to a look that would otherwise appear dull on a gloomy day. It’s one of those items I’d peg as a conversation starter. “Oh I love your shoes” one might say by way of compliment. The burnt orange luxury trench coat is the star on the Christmas tree. The colour, fit and look is very season appropriate not to mention it’s undeniable appeal on the eyes. Speaking of getting the most of my wardrobe pieces, both these boots and coat will work well with a dress or skirt look.
