My Spring Summer style wardrobe is quite ready to engage with sunny days come what may. The weather might not be indicative of the season but that doesn’t mean I’ve been carried away in thinking it won’t eventually catch up. I’ve managed to split my wardrobe into a few categories as they continue to occur in style and colours. This can be seen in my YouTube lookbook which is located at the bottom of this post along with relevant links to each item featured.
Linen
Linen pieces are key components of my spring summer style. It makes for a simple yet clean and luxurious look without even trying. They are very easy to pair with other fabrics and accessories. I tend to prefer plain pieces to keep the look minimal at best allowing me to go bold on accompanying accessories if and when I feel like it.
Whites
I love whites on any given day, but I prefer them in Spring and Summer. Another easy look to put together which always leaves me feeling quite light and free. This time I’m extending the whites to my accessories too, allowing me to mix and match with other pieces in my wardrobe.
Prints
I’ve never been one to shy away from prints and bold colours especially when there’s lots of sunshine to compliment it. Floral and animal prints are a couple of my favourite. There’s plenty of room to also mix and match if you fancy being extra bold.
Straws and Espadrilles
I love straw hats especially when the weather gets too hot. It’s the perfect accessory to keep the sun at bay while still adding style to a look. Straw bags are also a favourite of mine. Great for beach days and lazing in the summer grass. And let’s not forget espadrilles which are definitely made for hot summer days.
