Gone With The Wind Fabulous

February 28, 2015

If you’ve ever lived in Manchester you’d know the raincoat might just be your best friend when the rain comes pouring down. The rain not only comes without warning but also with strong gusts wind which often takes no prisoners when it comes to umbrellas. In my 3 years of residing in Manchester I can say it rains quite often, at least compared to Birmingham where I used to live. In this time it’s safe to say I have been through numerous umbrellas which sadly were mostly abandoned out of frustration or let go off and snatched by the wind.

I finally decided that a raincoat was the way to go if I was ever going to stop turning up at work soaking wet each time it rained. And it didn’t take me long to find this beauty when I went searching. I wore it for the first time on Thursday morning when it rained cats and dogs and oh boy did I feel undefeated. I strode into work feeling as Kenya Moore would put it ”gone with the wind fabulous”. Alas, success!!!IMG_2622IMG_2602Raincoat by Primark
