January 24, 2015

I am changing; changing the way I think, changing the way I react, changing the way I work and changing the way I treat others.

I used to be very critical of myself and others, pointing out all the negatives and focusing less on the good until I came across this documentary about ”the law of attraction” and a man in the documentary said something that now influences my thought process. He said, ”become the person you want to meet”.

For example if you want to meet someone nice, become nice. Don’t wait for others to embody the characteristics you long for, instead become the bearer of those qualities. This for some reason resonated with me, maybe because I had heard it before (”be the change you want to see” – Gandhi and Michael Jackson’s ”Man in the Mirror”) and finally this was the point in my life where it began to make sense to me.

It’s been 2 years since I first watched this documentary and I must say I have made a conscious effort to become the person that I longed to meet; a better version of me. I have made mistakes along the way but I embrace every bit of it as with each setback I have grown and learnt something new and I can say I am changing for the better.

This look was inspired by my continuos change and growth. I hope you like it 🙂
