This is my first fashion look on the blog inspired by the working woman. Seeing it’s winter I thought it’d be nice to come up with winter looks for work. Rather than going out and spending some of my hard earned money, I decided to go through my closet to look for pieces that I’ve owned for at least a year just to prove that you can make what you have work and still look fabulous.
It took me roughly 20 minutes to put the look together.
We’re all guilty of going shopping when a new season is approaching. Needless to say I was tempted to go and splash out some cash but resisted the urge seeing as I have other pressing things I need to save up for, priorities my friends. And who said old isn’t the new look (vintage darling!). Anyway, I always love a bargain and I can confirm that the most expensive item in this lookbook was just under forty pounds.
These are two of the looks I was able to come up with.
Ruffled Shoulder Blazer, Camel Coat & Red Coat – ZARA
Top – H&M
Gloves – M&S
Pumps – Kurt Geiger
Heels – Dorothy Perkins
